I was thinking of getting some wild caught africans from them, but haven't heard much about them. Anyone ever get anything from them? Thanks,
w

I have no experience with them, but I did check out there website. Its definitely bare bones with nothing too fancy. I looked over their live stock list. It looked a little steep on price. Personally I have never placed too much emphasis on "wild" caught tags. I am far too suspect to pay a bunch extra for that when there no way to confirm it was actually wild caught. I did notice it said updated March 2010. I wonder if the store is actually still operating?

Update on TNT: My friend in Richmond sent this guy $450 over two months ago. Tyrone at TNT kept stringing him along and stringing him along saying the fish would be on the way, finally Tyrone stops returning his calls, so he goes through Paypal to try and get his money back, and Paypal says since it was more than 45 days since he made the "purchase" they wouldn't refund the money. So, he is officially out almost $500 for a group of wild caught tropheus that he never received. Buyer beware!

Sounds like he needs to get a lawyer. Just because it is to late through Paypal doesn't mean h has to just take it.

If he used a CC then file the dispute with them.

File with the Better Business Bureau as well. Does not mean much but sometimes scares business owners into making it right.

Thanks everyone, he was pretty much resigned to the fact that he got taken, but I was looking for some ideas for how he could get his money back. A lawyer is probably too pricey and I don't know if the BBB will have the teeth to make the vendor pay up. I buy a lot of my fish online, sight unseen and it's scary to think that you can get taken that easily. It's just screwed up. I think he should file a complaint through the police with copies of the Paypal receipts, etc, because the guy definitely never sent him anything in return for the money.
