Did you pick it up yet? Maybe you might want to wait for a better deal or a bigger tank. The price he's asking, in my opinion, is a bit high. I mean, even if you sell all the fish, the time and effort you put in to sell and ship the fish is not worth it. Also, a 180 is the minimum amount to put a silver aro in. Do you have more than one?

If you can get out of the deal, I would do it. You are going to have to buy a larger tank to house your fish anyways. I'm not trying to rain on your parade because if I really want something, I would do the same as you. Good luck and tell us what you decided to do, The Doctor,

I know it's a little bit late but I went and checked the tank out, first impression... I should probably just leave lol. The guy took the canopy off and had two different lights (POS!) I had a feeling this guy took those pictures of the previous owner's setup because his was terrible, tank was terrible and on top of it all... His children were in the room and his son while we were talking took one of those little wooden children chairs and slammed it on top of the canopy and screwed up the top door. I thought to myself... damn I can't believe I drove all the way out here for this BS! I simply asked the guy if he would take some cash off and he started going bizzerk!

ANYWAYS.... longstory short I left in a hurry and am continuing my search!

Like someone said on a previous page search around for a 300G. I found a
"Tenecor R350 Show Tank 96L x 36W x 24H. Comes with 5 Fluval 404's,
5 Bulkhead fittings, 2 PL-JG3-41/10K-3F 48" FORMOSA DX (65W*4)
(2) 10K DAYLIGHT/(2) 7100K BLUE 260 WATTS 48" x 9" x 3.2",
2 heaters, 1 Heavy Duty stand disassembled for easy move." for 2500 OBO

What do you guys think about that? I can get a couple pictures if yall want to see
