to all of you bare bottom boyz

don't need to see rabbit crap sized turds laying on the bottom.

but with bare bottom tanks, you can see it right away and scoop it out keeping the water cleaner.

i have a 60 gallon with gravel and do regular water changes. after refilling, i always find little bits of crap hiding under the gravel.

i like to keep gravel in all my tanks it provides food for the babies i think the fish like it to move around and i dont like having to clean the bottom of the tank all the time or starring at the poo

I use bare bottom tanks for females that are holding and their fry...... after they get some size they go to one of the grow tanks.

I use gravel because I like the way it looks.
