I flush each out at least 2 to 3 times weekly. My fly river tanks 1x or once every 2 weeks depending on the bioload. I check on my turtles each day. Turtles take a lot of care. I think I spend most my days off cleaning the house or the tubs & tanks. Gotta love 'em. vicki
