Curious how your going to frame/attach the viewing window and what your going with to seal the tank (drylock, sweetwater, pond armor, etc)?

Also, why so tall vs deep (front to back)?

to attach the viewing window im going to add another layer of 2 by 4 to the front window frame to bring it flush with the plywood, then ill add a 2 by3 strip to create a lip for the glass( hope thats clear )
The tall vs deep question is easier explained, i wanted as big a viewing window as possible and as much as id have loved a 4ft deep tank it would have looked crap sticking that far out from the tv and book case that sit alongside it. the room just isnt big enough, my house has three floors but the livingroom is the only room on the ground floor( the only place id trust 1300 pounds)
We just dont build houses with basements in ireland, mores the pity.:)
