I'd just line the existing tank with FRP sheeting and seal the seams with epoxy resin using pour method.

I'd fix it, but if I'm going to put that much effort draining/emptying it I might as well upgrade to something more higher quality.

So it looks like I might go price some tanks this weekend!

Also, I would have gone with a used one, but there are very limited quantities in the area.
