To Everyone.....

I was just wondering how everyone got started...... I mean with fish keeping, was it something that you thought would be a good hobby as an adult or did it start as a child?????.....

I guess for me it was when my brother would take me fishinr at the Atascosa River here in Texas. I remember when he would catch something I would grab it, not knowing what it was at the time and inspect every inch of that now mud catfish. Anyhow, from that time on I have been intrigued by all type of aquatic species .......

My father had tanks since i was little and i always was amussed he then lost interest and i started cleaning them and then moved them to my room....my friend also had tanks and he gave me a few and this was 4 years ago and ever snce fishfishfish and i have always been a fisherman

some one gave me a fish tank with a pearl gourami in it..that was like 10 years back..and its been fishes and me since then

I grew up with fish tanks around the house. So, i guess my dad introduced me to the hobby.

Umm...Betta Fish...I got obsessed with them and then with other fish too

My Great Aunt gave me two 2 gallon aquariums and some guppies when I was 9.

Inherited a 75gal and a bunch of Cichlids from my Dad's office. One of the fish was 9yrs old, and HUGE!! It's been fun ever since!

Aunt had aquariums. I got a 10 gallon tank when I was 7-10 I think, who knows. The rest as they say..........is history
