To be honest, I'venever been a fan of waterland tubs, for water turtles.
They're great if you have a huge budget, but sliders don't really use land more than about 8'' from the water.
Personally, i'd go with an XXL kiddie pool...
But them are great if you have a female slider that is gonna need sooner or later a place in wich to lay her eggs, with or without the presence of a male because they are just like chickens. Even if you dont have a female sliders do put into use there land part( but of corse not to the same way species like boxies do) A few of my large females like to do some "land exploracions " from time to time, in serch of bugs and many of them , speciay old ones like to do afternon naps in land. Also you can use part of the land area to plant some non toxic plants like hibiscus that besides being prety can also make a fine snak to your turts. Has for your stunted turt , if you have any doupts that she will able to survive winter, them its bether not to take the risk and bring her in:D

Yeah, I have thought about keeping it outside on my deck for the summer, but I would not want to keep it out there for the winter, just gets too cold outside.
The summer here is fairly nice so I might keep her outside for part of the summer.
