BTW Honasan was reelected when he ran again after he got caught with his pants down literally during the time he was wanted for insurrection last year. He jumped out the window when caught with his "kabit" in the act by the cops that were tipped off about his hiding place.

It gets crazier and crazier. I hope they execute this Trillanes guy this time. He would have been in most countries last time he mutinied.

I'm not sure if he was a mayor but I know he was once a senator. I don't think he got re-elected this past election. Probably didn't bribe enough people :screwy:.

thats the whole problem it's all for show..they dont have the guts to prosecute or execute somebody for crimes against the country like plunder, corruption or rebellion cause all of them are dirty and have the dirt on other politicians, so it all gets worked out eventually...in other words naareglo rin...and by nature filipinos are forgiving thats why all these dirty politicians are thick faced, imagine a president who admitted she cheated in the elections and the country didnt do anything about it cause she apologized on

I think people are more scared hurricanes than coups at this point . Its sad to say but like what Jed said, Coups are a way of life there. :(

They as in the government...i am 100% FILIPINO born and raised..i lived through the time of Marcos, Aquino,Ramos,Estrada and now arroyo..i've seen the country grow worse and worse..the only time the country ever experienced a little relief is the time of Ramos and that is ancient history..
