to motoro's on the way :) and idea for cichla

nope, 18" without the super long tail, and thats if they are actually reticulated rays. Wholesalers just sell cheap baby rays as tea cups because they give the look of them. So in all actuallity you could have had a humerosa/orbigini, retic, peru sp, any of those rays named as tea cup and hoped for a retic since all the other rays get at least a 24" disk size

why not do a tank of platy's? maybe some cory cats... few tetra's and maybe some cichlids?

tank of oscars jags and pbass... skip the rays..

I don't think your rays will not be very happy in a 5' tank. You really want a min of 6', and motoro's get to a MIN of 24" disc size. they will do alright for a while but I would keep it simple, and I would run a huge sump to keep the water volume up so that you would have a much more stable tank.

Oscar/Redtail Cat.... Please listen to what everyone on this thread is saying, the people on here have knowledge and experience and aren't saying this to spite you... Putting "Teacup" stingray, or really and rays in a 5' tank is cruel and not suitable...

Just listen to what people are saying mate...

Why not put in your 5' a couple of p bass, a nice catfish perhaps an armoured?, and some dithers or similar?

I have a 240Gal downstairs and even i'm debating with myself whether to get rays for it, as i know its not going to be fair to house them in that once they grow...
