Is it normal for them to start to develop nauchal humps at 1.5"? Does he look like a hybrid at all to any one? Third pic is a second Texas. 1-2-4 are all the same fish...

fark!! mine didnt get a hump till like 5" then i had to get rid of him....as fer maybe a hybrid i wouldnt be able to tell you...keep us posted man!

what kind of texas , it looks like a hyrid to me , almost like a lower grade red texas , that has not or is not going to peel

I agree, i thiks its a lower grade red tex. if im not mistaken i can see a litte bit of red toward his bottom and his back fin looks to me as if it may have a faint amount of reddish striping on it. mine has it but really doesnt show up in pictures. does it show some faint red on tail fin? aslo if it is indeed a lower grade red tex.

I'd have to say its a Carpinte, with a NICE nuchal hump already. Im saying Carpinte strictly on patterning of the spangles not color.

look's nice to me is he the only one like that w/a small hump how about the rest of the frys what are his parents?

I only have 2....The other is in pic 3...She does not have any lump at all...I think they are carpintis. They were sold to me as "Green Pearl FH's"....I posted in the photo lounge and was told carpintis....Thanks guys.
