To Uaru or not to Uaru

Do you mean why the tank was leaking? Hard to say without seeing the tank, could just be very old silicon, sometimes tanks that are not level will leak (too much weight on one side, as you say), sometimes they are just not sealed properly by the manufacturer.

Get some pictures of the leaking spot, and some of the silicon all around (as may be more leaks in the making if there is already one)
I've email questions but no reply yet

I would get some pictures if you can, and post a thread in the DIY section. The guys there will be able to offer guidance on how to fix the leak.
Sure will, so what about the Uaru, THERE SO AWSOME, I know there orange ones, for my 120.

You seem pretty excited about them, so I would get them! Keep what you enjoy, best way to keep the hobby fun. I think that a 120 would be a fine size for a some uaru.

Just tossing this out as to maybe save you some problems down the road. You might want to fish check with the management/landlord and make sure a tank size restriction is not in place. While I personally have never lived in an apartment myself I do know some friends that have and most apartments have a size limit for tanks that they allow. Sadly it is usually pretty small as well. So might be wise to check that out first and foremost just to be safe.

Uaru were in my early stocking plans, but I never got them... I regret it so much, now that I have cleared most of my stock I can finally get these guys, in my 5 foot 120 dual over flow

True, I understand for a 210, but for my 120 I would just tell him it uses less water then a bathtub

Problem with that is when a bath tub location is planned out in a house there is extra bracing put down for support in that area, so that logic doesn't work with tanks. Not trying to rain on your parade or anything like that, but just don't want to see you get your parents in trouble with your apt management so best to ask before hand.
