Unless it was listed as like new or works great. it's a buyer beware market. Sorry for the bad luck.

if you have a problem with someone's product, how bout trying contacting them calmly, rather than called them an a-hole and threatening them...

This is true buyer/seller should discuss all buy/sell issues in private first if possible.

Koop is right but even if you think it's broke and not repairable sometimes there's ways to fix it. Whether it's seals or genuis way to fix the housing. All is not lost until we exhaust all the options.

If it's a seal replace the seal. If it's the housing might try some silicon or some epoxy.

im going to try this! the only problem is its where the bottom shell goesinto the top shell where the light is. right on the lip! and a new seal didnt work. the plastic seems to have been worn down or shaven off for some reason!!!

It was my sterilizer. Here is my thread that it was purchased from. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=221926 My husband tested it and it worked as far as we could tell. This is an item that came with a tank we purchased off of CL and not something that we used ourselves. I pmed the op as soon as I saw this thread. I do not want anyone to think that I would intentionally sell something that was not working properly. Hopefully it can be fixed where it can be used.

when i bought a turbo twist, it leaked too, but some minor adjustment with the seal rings, things work out..... and sometimes, it seems after the seal rings absorb some water , they expand and thus creating a tighter seal .... and thats when it'll stop leaking ( a day later ) :) good luck

This is the most honest thing I have read in a while. Very admirable. I think a public apology is in order.

Next time (OP) keep your records strait, and handle business properly...Do you think this is a good look toward people you may deal with in the future?

Very good of you to post this. Hopefully the op can get the leak taken care of. If not I hope you two can work something out to make everyone happy.
