Thanks everybody for your kind words.. it really meant alot..:)

Charcoal is my first pet fish.. I really can't describe how I'm feeling about the loss.. still kind of dazed.. I feel that everything is so surreal.. I'll probably not be getting another pet anytime soon.

Have not given much thought on what fish to get.. but to answer Large_cichlids, when I do buy another, it would be one that is as adorable as my Charcoal. Any suggestions.. for future reference?
 
There are so many prime dank gerat cichilds to choose from TEXAS, Jaguar, WOLF, depending on your tank
 
I think it is more like a matter of you walking into the LFS and that one fish just kinda sticking out to you.

Chad, yes, I do believe the right fish would call out to me, just like Charcoal did.. and
Basteredfish, I would consider another FH if it is the ONE.;)
