hmm it appears the hondurans get bigger and have more pattern on the face

Very impressive collection. How do your rays like having so many tankmates, I've always loved them but didn't think they liked many other fish on the bottom. On the other hand I've never been a big fan of crays but I really like the pic of all the babys crawling on the sponge filter. Also did I see a baby sturgeon in one of those pics?

Not necessarily. They both get around the same size. My Jag however spent the first few yrs of his life in a 55 gallon with a RES turtle and was stunted. I won him off of ebay. But, he's my favorite fish out of ALL of them hands down. He was my first SA/CA cichlid.

The hondurans have smaller spots, and more all over. That's why I like them.

The rays love eachother. They are always piling in one corner of the tank on top of eachother, and there is one smaller guy that grabs the large males (lighter ray) tail and rides around on it.

The Juranese do their own thing, and spend most of their time in one spot swimming in the power head.

They are in a 240 atm, but part of it is divided because I have a flower ray who I am trying to get to eat.

The crays are marmokrebs.. the self cloning crays. I have 6 full grown ones, and they just all had babies again, so I have to set up more tanks to grow out those babies. I am going to be selling some to a pet store here in the area soon because I have hundreds of babies!

And yes, you did see sturgeon babies. I have 7 of them growing out. They are siberians. 3 are about 6", and the other 3 are about 4". I am trying to beef them up and grow them to 12" so that I can place them in the 1500 and then to the 6000 pond.

great looking fish, Im surpised and pleased to know people are keeping sturgeon as pets. fascinating prehistoric fish.

Sturgeons is kinda what made my hobby of fish go into this extreme state...

I watched a show about their depleting numbers, and how there are people trying to get their numbers back up by harvesting eggs from WC adults, and raising the eggs.

Carolina Diamondback Terrapin- Female.. large with white head
