Any tips on sexing them Mo? I've got a couple I picked up from Harry Tolen last year and they're 8-9" and I can't tell. I'm assuming I have two of both sexes, I just don't know which. I can post photos, but they're pretty crappy.

Mostly body shape and size. These came from Harry as well. I haven't spoken to him in a long time. Please pass along hello if you do. Post the pictures...I'll take a shot at sexing them. It's not that difficult.

My color modes are concrete modes. I can't adjust all I can do is the Hue. I tried makeing it a little more red to get rid of the blue and it helped but I had problems with keep the red balance consistant. Maybe because of the lighting in the tank because I have mix of 10K bulbs and 6K. The 6's give a red tint. Well I'll mess with it until I get the right thing and I also use a SB-800 but I only have 1.

Get a sync cord for the camera...attach it to the flash. Look for a sync cord that offers TTL metering...about forty bucks at B&H. Put the flash on top of the tank pointing straight down. The camera will trigger the flash. Guarantee it will correct your color problem...the flash will override the tank lights. Guaranteed.

Here are my two...pretty drastic color differences between them. Sorry the shots are so crappy...the decent ones are over 8 months old.

If I had to guess...I would say both are male. The one with less color is the sub dominant. Are they both about the same size?

Yeah, the one with more color was always bigger up until recently, now the one with less color is passing it in size. I'll go see if I can snap a couple photos right now, they're both 8-9".
