Hey Mo! Great pics!!!!

I have brilliant & colorful stock but every time I shoot them, the flash blows their colors out...and I cant figure out good enough settings so that the auto flash doesnt come on. When I use a different setting, its either too blurry or too dark. Im using a canon 20D so I know its not the camera.

Any tips, general settings or basic info for us amateurs?

Sorry if this is considered a derailment from the original topic.

Try setting the camera in Manual modes and experiment with the settings. If it's too light, either make the aperture higher (f22 - F29) or increase the shutter speed. Check to see how fast the camera will shoot and still sync with the flash. If it's too dark...go the other direction. It's all practice and keep shooting.

Hope that helps.

Mo
