Well, I leave Tuesday for Panama. SO I guess that's a start. I've kept SA cichlids before...and have a few now...Festae, Umbee.. I have ZERO interest in Pike or Cichla. The water I have here in NEPA is very hard...like liquid nails. I have a problem with SA in that they require softer water. There's plenty of CA cichlids to kkep me busy with the addiction.

Your average tank is 304 gallons!!!???

lovin' the first pic, second one is good to but the first one is just :whoa:

Tis a pitty that you have zero interest in Crenicichla or Cichla. They are some of the best SA cichlids out there. Oh well, to each his own.

About the harder water thing though, I'm got pretty hard water, and I've been able to get my SA to breed for me before...dunno if I'm just lucky or what....either way, keep them pictures rolling!

Love the Pearsii. Excellent photos as usual.:)
Can't wait for mine to mature.
