Today in the Fishroom ~ 4/9/12 So Long Big Blue

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i agree that he was definately the gold standard for the species. 10 years is still a long time for a fish to live, I know not the longest but im sure not many members on here could boast to having a 10 year old cichlid. I'm sorry for your loss Aquamojo just be glad that the time you had with the fish and all that you learnt and experienced. because the fish brought all that to your life.

I know its not a nice question to ask but do you have any plans for the next fish model?

Saw this title and my heart sank too most of us have been there that have been in the hobby for some time and it is never easy to say goodbye. This was more than just a pet it was a concrete accomplishment and you should be proud to know he couldn't have been in better hands and be shared with so many over the years. Hundreds have been sold due to this fish if not thousands. How big do you think he was when he passed? He definitely is the yard stick that should be used in what a zonatus should end up like yet I doubt many if any ever measure up to the blue beast.
