these are older photos......I am sure I have seen them before but either way very nice...
can you tell us more about the fish? Like personality,size,does it have a mate, can it live with others, and most important, when are you sending me some fry?????LOL
 
They are older photos. I sold this pair about a month ago to a friend. The fish were moved into a 600 gallon aquarium with some other less aggressive CA cichlids. They lived solo in a 180 gallon tank while I had them. From what I am told they display aggression, but to date have not killed any of the other fish in his tank. The male was 13" when I moved him...the female @10". Sorry. No fry. Moving some of my other fish around. Likely will pick up something else shortly....possibly some Steindachneri.
 
I thought you were getting some F0 Managuense from a different location and this is why you sold this pair?

I swear my male Jag (~8") has that blue tinge to his dorsal and anal fin..I just can't capture it in a picture or a video :(

That was the original plan and still an option. I'm just not in a hurry to select a fish that I plan on keeping for many years. Steindachneri have been on my short list for years. I've had managuense for the better part of thirty years. Might be time for a change up. and again...Steindachneri! :)
 
hi Mo, i'm new MFK,but have always seen your incredible work on this and other sites.i have a point and shoot canon A630,has manual settings i can change,i would like to get some better shots,any advice?
