Mo really knows how to make up for his absence around here. What is the big yellow, flowerhorn looking fish in the first few photos?

Trimac. Next photo Citrinellus (Midas) Both of which are used in some form to create Flowerhorns.

The gold morph jag is coming on well,

Yeah. Honestly though...disappointed. The fish is in constant hiding. Only time I see him come out is when he is eating or breeding.

Always love your pics. Thanks for sharing.

Thank YOU for the comment. I enjoy photographing them as much as I do keeping them.

Thanks pal. I run hot and cold on the forum.

Nice to see a pic of Jumbo again after so many years

Yeah...finding that "lost" image was a real bonus. That was hands down my favorite fish. Says a lot with close to fifty years of keeping cichlids under my belt.

Thanks for answering.I have heard of Trimacs but I don't recall them having that yellow coloring.

Do you have any updates on the patternless "one in a million" jags you posted about some time ago?

That is th Gold managuense. As it’s getting older it’s pattern is more prevalent.

Beauties Mo! Thanks for posting.
