as promised here are the pics, i found that chunk of wood today and scrubed it down real good, and this was my first time with a sump and it kicked my fanny! i couldnt get that darn thing started for the life of me, but 45min later its tricklin away!!
thank you, im a huge fan of tall tanks too and its at eye level so its even better, im headed out tomorrow to find a new LFS and get some prime and look into getting a lid, but that light blows my mind with the night time setting

thanks! i plan to let it cycle for a few anouther day b4 addding my gar, then 2 more weeks b4 adding any other fish
Nice looking free wood there. I'd soak it for a while though. I collected a big piece too during my lunch walk at work and have been soaking it in a trash can for over a week and a half now with w/c every 3-4 days.
