Hi........

This is Channa pseudomarulia!

It has a more arrow like head than Ch. marulia!

A trading name for it is Ch. spec "Isabella"

was this the guy who was in the left hand side tank at paddock mate? if so he has been in a while. there was a group of about 6 in the tank and they all got along great but they had a problem and 5 of the group died which just left that guy.

was going to pick him up myself but he would of eaten ewverything in my tank so decided against it.
 
yes that him mate, been looking at him myself for a while now ,decided to pick him up when i seen you in there , allough the asiatica is showing some aggresion towards him and he is that docile he will not stand up to him , so seperated him at the moment , spoke to mark today and he said just bring him back , so might take him down tomorrow morning , may try one of marks marulia

if it had been half the size ide of been after it my self! just slightly to large for the others in my tank.

Different habitat and different view!

I have got 4 of them at home ,too

also 2 pseudomarulia.......

thereare a lot of undiscribed species within the marulia complex.......

Aw man, nice Snakehead. Makes me still wish I had gotten an actual Snakehead instead of getting a Pike that I thought was a Snakehead lol.
