I'm pretty pleased with it. I wish it had some of the shell with it. I can only guess how large this guy with the head.

Bone lasts forever as long as nothing is around to chew on it. You could probably lacquer it or something.



I don't think this guy would've been small the skull is 4 inches long. I'd imagine this turtle was in the 12 to 15 inch shell range.
 
I found a snapper skull 2 years ago. How did you prepare it? Mine still has some dried skin on it. Road kill...
