Nice pick ups!!

I believe that sijica are now under cryptoheros and I have no idea what gets the Amatitlania title so I'm not help there.

You will love the psittacus!! They are great fish. Hope you have a monster tank ready for them. I have 5 in a 220g and it is not nearly big enough. They are getting to breeding age and all hell is starting to break loose. They will be getting more room in a few weeks though. Truely a great fish.

I just want to keep a pair in my 125 and sell off the rest. The rest of my stock will be split somehow into my 125 and 75. I'd like to say an upgrade is in my future but the house we just bought wont accomodate that many tanks. I might build a barn outside and heat it though. Still toying with the idea.

If I'm not mistaking convicts are Amantitlania. I thought Cryptoheros was right but I have seen a lot of them called Archocentrus.

They keep getting moved around. Sajica was archocentrus a little while back. Now they are cryptoheros. Multispinosa keep getting switched back and forth from herotilapia and archocentrus. I think they wait until everyone figures out the new name and then quickly change it again just to confuse people;).

thats not hard... im always confused :nilly:

whats the growth been like on the parrots? these little guys are just ~1/2". Ive got them in a 30 gallon right now set at 82 and Im thinking of kicking the temp up to 84-86 but I dont want it too hot for the sajica.

They are fast growers and have huge appetites. At that size it will take them a little time to get going but in a year you are going to have some large fish. I got mine at arounf 3-4" about 7 months ago and the biggest male is already 12" and still growing. The smallest female is at least 8". 82 should be a fine temp. I keep mine between 80-84 depending upon the house temp.

Pics or it didn't happen!

Great choice in fish but lets see some pics already......
