the reason i said hybrid is it wasnt sold as a specific species. i could be completely wrong though. looks closer to hen than leo imo due to tail and yellowish spots but again could be wrong

But in my personal opinion it looks like it might have leo in it. Hard to say. Trev and some others would be able to give certainty on the matter.

Thanks for the clarification! They don't make a difference here as I wrote above, and you are probably right in your thought that it's a hybrid between Different species of black rays. But then again, I also think that there is pure breed rays out there.

I love this ray no matter what, it's just interesting to understand what bloodlines there may be at work here.
