Thats not as bad as my old neighbors that had a pleco that was like 10 inches or something die. When they went to flush it the fish just stuck it up lol.
I thought a fish had died one time, I took it out of the tank and plopped it into the toilet. Started swimming again. He lived for a few more months than something happened to the tank. I named him Jesus
I flushed a five-inch filter sponge which, by all rights, should be stuck in the gooseneck and is a ticking time bomb...but the toilet still flushes, so maybe it did go down.
Did this once when I was a kid with an oscar that died after being roughed up by a rd. It looked liked it flushed. Came home from school to find the upstairs bathroom literally taped off with a sign on the door written by my dad. "Please do not use restroom. I believe I was sick in here, I feel fine but I crapped a fish." My family was not amused. Toilet was out of commisionm for a couple of days.
