yeah Tokyo is an awesome city. you can be in central tokyo and feel the non-stop energy or take a short train ride to a totally relaxing place, like Kamakura (this was the farthest i went).

i was very impressed at how clean and safe this city is. even the trains/subways are extremely clean; you could eat off the floors of the trains haha. great culture with impressive history

hmm no idea, at first i thought it was one of those lookdowns but after looking online it didnt look familiar. i bet its tasty though! and we had some sashimi breakfast right after walking around the market

as far as the culture, no, nothing stood out as bizarre, even though its all so foreign to me. what surprised me was how much japan is very much a cash-based society even with all that technology. and finding an ATM that will accept foreign cards is a challenge.
