yeah i like their conditioner as well ... as for the Jacks chain ... i would agree that most of the stores in columbus SUCK royally ... but the one in easton is every bit as nice as the one in findlay. i was suprised last time i was in findlay and stopped in there... as far as selection, i can't comment, cuz i have only been in twice, but the store is very good as a whole
they are hit and miss sometimes, because they are so busy (he sells like $2K a day in the store....) but when he is fully stocked, he usually has some SWEET fish, and the staff (if you get one of the 4 guys who have been there a while) is very good too!
nect time you are down here, check it out, it is 10000000 times better than the graceland, and hilliard locations

I'll have to check out the Findlay store next time I'm by there. I'd also like to check out Marysville as it's new and I've never been. The only Columbus one I can remember going to is Hilliard and I definitely wasn't impressed. I also stopped by the Beavercreek one not long ago and it was in much worse shape than I remembered. I think my perspective was changed somewhat after working at a Jack's though.

I think beavercreek was the one "in"dayton I was in I thought it would be sweet b/c it was where the Jack's HQ is but not at all you can tell it's an older store.

yeah unfortunately most of the stores aren't but as a regular, i feel the need to defend Easton!!
go check it out!!
and Koop - they have a sweet vampire tetra in there! not really my style, but a very cool fish that you don't see often!

You know, I never really thought about that, but yeah, the Jack's support center is in Beavercreek and the retail store there sucks...now that I've worked at a store though, I pay far more attention to the caging and shelving units and how the products are arranged on the shelves and all that. While the fish selection isn't that bad, the overall state of the store is terrible

as far as the vamp. tetra ... in was told that they are actually very peaceful (other than eating feeders) and that if anything i would have to worry about other fish picking on it. not vice versa ...
but if your interested, mayb post something on here, and people will give you some experience
