Toledo zoo - freshwater

Another Toledo native! I never knew they had a aro in the amazon exhibit. The zoo is really old and has some really old exhibits. Those fish have been there for ever. Seems to get a little nicer every time I go though.

Great pics, love to see the public aquarium pics.

Nice shots. It is always cool to go to the different aquariums and zoos to see what they have. Thanks for sharing. :)

I think there's either 4 or 5 in that exibit.

I haden't made it to the zoo in about a year so I was looking for the mata mata's in the amazon exhibit and they were gone :( but there's probally 1,000 red devils 3 or 4 medium sized rays 2 big rays 4 or 5 aro's a couple red tail cats and some big royal pleco's and a mix of little fish I couldn't care enough to notice the types :grinyes:

I was there during the winter and all they had in there were a couple rays a really F'ed up RTC and a ton of red devils. They have a wierd obsession with RD at that zoo I think. Where the pima is right now they used to have about 1000+ RD and like 100 common plecos.
