I had a mate get stung by his leopoldi he said it was like a hot knife being stuck through his wrist and i can believe it i saw the swelling.

This is what i think about everytime i think i want one.
Its one thing getiing bit but a whole different thing getting a barb stuck through a limb....hmmm

I love how much that line gets used.
But it is true.
I was just looking at all my fish related scars last night. Some brought back painful memories, but they are a great reminder to pay attention.

I just bought a new big aquarium, that could maybe house one small ray. And I honestly thought about it. But this is the main reason I decided not to get one. I'd like to remain at the top of the food chain in my small apartment!

When I was a teenager my first job I worked was in a fish store.I was filling up the tank that had a 6 foot electric eel.I had the end of the hose in my hand and it was out of the water.A couple came by and started to ask question after question.I didn't notice but the water had gone pass my had.I turned and saw the electric eel was 1 inch from my hand and it had the look that he was going to bite me.It would had been bad news for me,when they bite ,they do not let go and they shock you at the same time.I know first hand,i have caught a few of them fishing in the Amazon.
