Some town
I have got a little carried away by ordering 8 angels and 4 rainbows. The shipment arrives Wednesday. I already have 16 livebearers, 7 cory cats, 2 rainbow sharks, 2 silver hatchetfish, a yellow rainbow, 2 glass cats, 4 neons, 4 gold neons, and a preacox rainbow. All in a 65 gallon tank. I have a 10 gallon tank waiting for a use. Should I move all the live bearers to the 10 gallon? Should I put the neons with them, or would that over crowd both tanks? If any of you could give me suggestions that would be great.

Thanks!

Yeah, I know, should I let the angels just eat the neons to get rid of fish? It won't do that much, but it's a start.

when you say livebearers do you mean mollies, platies, and swords or do you mean guppies? If its guppies then they should be alright in the 10g for a while

I wouldn't say it's horribly overstocked aside from the angelfish due to the small size of the other fish - but you should definitely make arrangements to thin your stock down, put the smaller live bearers in the 10 gallon - or whatever you think will do well in it...

I have 8 guppies, 4 mollies, and 2 swords. I know that isn't 16, but 2 are just babies I'm keeping in a one gallon.

The corys could and the angels should be able to get along as angels stay up on the top and the corys on the bottom. Corys are cool fish too. Get rid of everything else except maybe the glass cats. How big is the biggest tank?

My main tank is 65 gallons and has a lot of room to hide. I've had one angel before and it lived for three years. It was about 7 inches high, and about 4 inches long. I'm not sure if that is exact. He got along with the glass cats, corys, and the black skirts. I think he got along with all my live bearers. I haven't had any for a while but I think they were fine. He ate all, but one neon, I don't know why he didn't eat him.
