Too many plants???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I used to just tie the roots to a rock or a weight and let it sit on top of the sand. The roots would do their own thing. You don't want to bury the rhizome on ferns and anubias.

Good to know. I knew of the rhizome of the anubias but not the fern. Ill grab some fish weights and tie em up. Thanks!

Nice tank! But no such thing as too many. Your fish don't bother them?

So far, the fish dont touch much. My Geo's sift the sand and disrupt the substrate which in turn loosen the plants. But not too often.

Just wait until they get bigger. Mine dug out the plants within about a day usually.... although the swords were less picked at than others. As much as I hated it, between the digging geos and the plant eating severums, I went with fake plants.

Nah man nice look ing tank and nice parrots btw, but nope i dont think theres too muck until its choking out your fish, if you can see the back of the tank ur good ha nice tank

Thanks all! Hopin the severum doesnt chow on all the plants, but I am sure as time goes by and they grow they'll get into 'em. Gonna work on attaching the rest of the plants to the driftwood.
