pleeze help

about 5 months ago i put 2 super super small snails in my 55 gallon tank to get rid of some alge

BUT... now i have hundreds of snails in the tank and have no idea how to get them out

is their a fish that eats them, or a liquid u put in your tank to kill them and not your fish

if you have any advice pleeze help im only 13 and dont know much about tanks

anything helps !!!!!!!!!!:feedback:

well everytime i find pink snail eggs in my tank i take um out, but when they hatch have loaches eat them or if you have puffer fishes, they'll do the job, or you could just squish them in the tank and have the fish eat them

Clown loaches and yoyo loaches are both very good at eating the small young snails. Honestly though d best way to reduce their numbers is to reduce feeding. The more food that makes it to the bottom of the tank the more food available for the snails to thrive. Reduce feeding to once a day or even every other day and you should see a significant reduction.

Just get Assasin Snails on Aquabid or wherever. I did that to a couple tanks I have and they wiped them clean in a couple of weeks. Plus they look cool and move fast for snails.
