Bruce is looking a lot better than he did when you rescued him. Cool Oscar pack!!
He has improved a lot, and is still the biggest Oscar I've seen personally, lol.

nice to see these guys in a more natural setup, they look awesome.
They do, and the coolest part is watching them follow each-other around, usually because Bruce is heading a certain direction, lol.

nice setup, whats the filtration on it?
Thanks, and I was waiting for that! It's a Fluval 305 Canister Filter, and yes, I know it's not enough for the entire pond (WAY-off), but seems how I will be most likely be taking down the pond sometime soon, I didn't want to attempt making a DIY canister. And because of the filtration it currently has, I am surprised as to how clear the pond is! All the levels are good as well. It was fairly clouded for awhile until about a month ago. Guess I'm still confused about it, lol. :nilly:

Sure you don't mean 3000 liters.:D

diameter X diameter X depth X 5.9 = volume in gallons which comes at 885;)

Nice job saving those guys.
LOL, you made me check again to be sure. The "pond" isn't cylindrical. ;) But let me do some measurements again, and double check everything to be sure, lol.
And thank you. :)

At the risk of sounding sappy, I'm very touched that you've rescued all of those Oscars. Goodness knows there are way too many of them out there sitting in tiny LFS tanks waiting to be rehomed yet again. I like it! :)

Thank you. :)
And that's just the one thing that always comes to mind. For every one or two Oscars I rescue, there are always many more being sold at LFS. I believe that in the case of Bruce, the owners bought him because he was "Cute" and the boyfriend of the couple knew that they ate live goldfish. (Which may explain the horrible HITH he had when we first arrived at the home) All I can do is smile and wave, lol. :D

Thank you. :D And I'd have to agree with you on that; lots of different coloration, sizes, temperaments, personalities, etc. As common as they are, they are still a favorite.
