Just take it easy, Rest and Ice. You dont want to do the heating pack so much. It promotes blood flow and that causes swelling. All though it feels so much better during and after but it causes more pain later and longer healing time. Just take some nsaid's (non-steriodal anti-inflamitory drugs) Aleve or Motrin. That will kinda help out a little...... This is what I tell my Marines when they get hurt.
Sorry to hear about the fall lol but your not the only one. I slipped and fell on the kitchen floor the other day doing a water change. This was me after I got myself together :cry: oww lol
lol...Thanks. Will do. :)

at least you didnt try and reach into your 110gal tank then nearly fall into it :( i have to stand on a chair because im too short to reach it lol. then i lift a bucket up full of fish poop and its too heavy for me....so it falls backwards onto me and soaks me completely with dirty water!!!

you had it easy there...try washing that stuff out of your hair...it took me three washes to get the smell of hikari gold out of my hair! :(
At least what happened to you sounds kind of hot.

could of been worse id imagine..see if it happened to me i prob would have somehow managed to drown myself falling into one of the buckets...god love ya and glad ure okay:)

Ouch! Bruiser i did that before just old wooden basement steps right down three one bucket scraped my back up some. Feeling the pain rest it off bud. Invest in some vinyl tubing w/ an inlet & outlet line from the sink i do ever since then.

Ouch! I hurt my back years ago and this week at work, the pain is back for some reason, but I'm sure yours is worse. Mines just a little annoying.

In the next week or two, I'm buying a friend's 150 and the one thing I'm not looking forward to about it is the height. Not only is it a tall tank, but it is on a custom Amish built stand that is very tall for some reason. I purposely built my 75 stand extra short so that I didn't have trouble reaching the back since I'm only 5' 10". The top edge of this 150 is probably at least 5' 6" off the ground. I'm going to need to invest in a small ladder for tank maintenance. At some point I'll probably fall trying to mess with it.

AWESOME.... i agree with post #7

Oh yes. I took the pain like a champ and followed through with it using only one bucket. :headbang2lol
