Like most cichlids clean water and good food. A few places for them spawn. I use the standard clay strawberry pots like a lot of cichlids breeders use. After they have been together a while you can try some live foods, night crawlers work for me every time.

Yeah lol you could say that. I have 13 tanks of nothing but Festae. My largest pair spawns every three months. I don't even try to save the fry anymore I have three other pairs that spawn also. I probably have close to 100 two and three inch fish that I have grown out.
If I had the space I could literally have thousands of these fish in a matter of a few months. Lol
