The Hydor Smart Wave can handle 100 watts/socket, the Hydor Koralia 1400 Power Heads draw 6 watts each, that equals 16 powerheads PER socket for a total of 32 if you had a tank that required that many. It can handle four with plenty of wattage to spare. It is meant to take care of tiny tanks, all the way up to the largest tanks.
I know. It gives you 2 sockets so you just need extension cords. Anyways, I gave you opinion that it sucks and the best way I found is running 2 power heads on the unit and 2 in constant motion. No one else chimed in with experience on it.
Anyways you know what your doing and don't need opinions on it.
