Some people get tired of posting replies to something that has been asked a lot, some just ignore it, and some help; it's the nature of things. I highly doubt you offended anyone, it's not a big deal, some people just have a different sense of humor than others.

just cichlids or other species, because you only need 3 top spots for other species
1. Goliath Tigerfish (they kill wildabeast that travel to far into the water in the wild)
2. Crystal Eyed Catfish (they rip everything in theyre tank to shreds including tankmates, filters, air pumps, and plants)
3. Snake Head ( you should know)

thats nothing compared to a small group of 3ft fish killing a 1 ton animal in 4ft deep water

????????? First off gatf are from the Congo River in Central Africa and wildebeest are from Southern Africa...they never meet. gatf get bigger than 3ft. Wildebeest at the very largest are around 600lbs. The Congo is the deepest river in the world and tiger fish tend to hang around the deeper water.

I think that the convict has to be n the top 10. Not that it could win a fight against many of the bigger cichlids, but it does have the willingness to fight. Pond for pound toughest fish I've ever owned.

Here's a picture of my Butti....she is a sweetheart.

Saw one at the LFS on Friday the guy said it would kill everything in my tank and that it just recently beat the snot out of a JAG and a Red Devil in a 300gal tank.

I should not have assumed that just because it's on a Cichlid thread that everyone would see it that way. I meant regarding Cichlids, my fault, sorry.
