beani thrive in wild but as soon as it comes to keeping them in the hobby, there near extinct, i dont think there is a single beani in the UK.

why is it that the beani arent collected that much?? every1 wants them and theres loads in the wild so..

i supose the location of them in the wild is pretty far out of the way??

beani aren't that hard to come by - people just don't breed them becaues they're high aggressive, so all specimins are F0 and command a higher price. I'm pretty sure Mexico has banned export on them, too.

There are people that have and are collecting them. I should have 4 of them 4" - 6" by the end of October, I can't wait.

Wrong, a shop sold a adult pair acouple of years ago, not sure who too or if there still alive

Beani are rare in captivity becuase there difficult to breed due to aggression and the fry bloat and die very eazily

Ornatums are very rare in captivity don't know how rare they are in the wild though

Lynosi would also be high on the list there getting very rare in the wild
