if the half inch doesn't fit then you need to have the 3/4 you might go to the 1" as it would give less friction. Just try to reduce the number of bends (elbows and such) to keep the head pressure up. Flex pipe usually works really well (ie tigerflex)

:iagree: No doubt they'll be strong swimmers.
 
The Reeflo pumps are the most energy efficient high flow pumps available. With 3 year warranty on the regular series and 5 year warranty on the gold series, you can't go wrong. I'll be running 4 Hammerheads on the 4300.

If your flow is too much for your overflow to handle, I have an easy way to divert flow and make use of it without putting backpressure on your pump.
