If you think it's worth it to go cheap, think again. The topfin has 2 cartrideges, and no permanent biomedia. It takes up more backspace, and as you can see from the photo, the flow rate is much lower.

Are TopFin HOB's on par with whisper?
From what I saw on google, which wasn't much, they look to be the same, with the media just having a different shape.

Other way around dude, atleast I think so. Ewurm, how did you get all of this TopFin stuff? Buy it before you joined MFK huh? Any filter without biomedia is useless. Also, the Whisper's Bio Sponge Media is crap.
