So whats the next comparison wurm vs worm... (couldnt resist, still feelin the Saints Juice)

I put a 110 on everything, even use one on my 10g that I keep feeders in sometimes...

Wurm vs Worm huh? Let me give you a run down. Worms feed fish, squiggle around, and perform various tasks from eating dirt to sucking the blood from their victims. Wurms feed the fish, (sometimes with worms), make Smart Ass comments, and spend their time pondering the notion that people actually wear pajamas in public.

I had a top fin 10 filter once, it sucked...
I do have a tetra whisper 60 though, and it seems to do a good job, and flow rate is great, and I can adjust it during feeding times...

AC70 will be the same price, will provide even more water flow, and better bio filtration. Plus, you can add whatever media you want. Carbon, purigen, zeolite, more biomax, Eheim effinsubstrat (lol). Get the Petsmart price match, and you get a superior filter for the same price. I have had both, AC is the way to go.

I wouldn't use a Top Fin filter even if it was free! AquaClear is the only way to go!

I believe Top Fin is Petsmart's version of Whisper. Whisper is carried by Walmart, that's where I used to get mine.

I would go with the Whisper as it turns over more water per hour at 330 gph. The reason you see no surface agitation is because the tank is too full for the lip of the filter. Drop the water level about 1/2-1 inch and watch that baby go!! If it still doesn't look to be pumping 330 gph then clean it out.
