Top five most aggressive fish

To catch on hook and line? Blacknose shark, Carcharhinus acronotus will beat you like you owe him money and try de skin you with the tail and take a chunk out of you with the pointy end.
In a tank... I haven't much experience with the huge cichlids thus my scale is skewed. Of species I've kept the mated pair convicts was the most tenacious against the other fish.

From experience:

i'd say snakeheads/black piranha/jardini/mbu's and most puffers

cichlids: neolamprologus cylindricus, Red Devils/ Jaguars/ crenicichla

This kind of post always comes up and will continue in the years to come im sure.
U have to break down agression to a few parts. U have agression towards people, objects etc that are outside the tank. You have feeder aggression and another type of aggresion which is often towards its own sp. or competing fish its own size etc. I would say the highest aggression towards people is the Aimara as well as the its own sp. A solitary aimara will not tolerate another tank mate from what ive seen. As far as feeder aggression theres tons out there. I think big p bass are very aggressive towards feeders etc. Fish aggression towards its own sp etc, even the small fighting betta is up there. However all around the Aimara is the most fierest fish ive seen and most often will try to kill you through the tank. And they can especially dangerous compared to others because there teeth are like well u see for yourself.
