top part of tail fin gone!!!

his tail was between mild to bad i started to treat it asap and gave him occasional salt baths.i dont have a photo clear of his tail but got the pic from a video i took so type in polypterus weeksii bichir on youtube and ive uploaded it there,can clearly see how its healed.how is yours doing now?

It's healing fine but the top of the tail fin isn't there. YOU see, a normal bichir tail is supposed to be spooned shaped tail with a pointy end. MY weeksi has a normal curved bottom part of the tail while the top part is STRAIGHTISH with 2 smoth bumps. will the heal properly. is doesn't seems to grow anymore. will the fin reform when the weeksi grow?
