Not sure on the name but it was the guy who is usually shoeless...His partner would have none of it.
Oh yeah, ever watch Dual Survival?...The one guy was drinking his own urine to get by so I don't the Amazon would be too much for him to handle.
I know, was just joking...I know from experience that trying to move a short distance through a real jungle is taxing enough on your body, let alone trying to live in one full time.Well Krich its survival of the fittest out there. Amazonians learned to survive in the jungle. I do agree with Miguel tho I probably would end up victim to the jungle.
Bear Gryls ruined it for the others lol...Give Dual Survival a look though when you get a chance. Those shows are crap, i am sorry. It is easy to survive in the midst of a film cw full of specialists of everything around you or at call.

Several problems.
Diseases we do not even imagine exist, and that would kill us very rapidly.
Very scarce in food, and you have to know what you can eat.
On land, save in open areas of wich the are several, you cannot walk 500 metres without getting to a river or some other obstacle, and it will take you hours to walk those metres.
Very tough people live there. Some good, some bad. Whatever happens to you stays there.
Exception to the indians, "amazonians" are called creolos, have jungle lore, of course, but all their life is lived near rivers. Their mode of travel is by boat, only.
Even in Manaus ( a huge city of millions ) - they have an airport of course - you have no way to levae the city by car for any considerable distance or to any "civilized place "
It is a completely diifferent world than what we imagine. That is why i say it is a mythical experience. Green, green, and water and you.
