Am I to believe that you have amassed almost twice as much knowledge as I have because you have posted twice as much? Or should that be four times the knowledge considering the time we have been here?

Or is Bogwoodbruce now the new Steven Hawking of fishkeeping?

i'm sorry, I should have bolded that part more. As a science man, you understand me when i say that correllation is not 1. but there is definitely a positive corellation, no matter how weak, between post count and knowledge. Don't be so grumpy just cause you're an old dude

She was right. Now figure out what that means.

There is no correlation between post count and knowledge.

My knowledge base hasn't changed much in the last 2.5 years. Potts and johnptc both had more knowledge before their first post than 95% all other members reguardless of their post count. Oddball and Dr. Joe came here fully versed and haven't needed any help from the population.

On the other hand, our most notorious post count whores Delgado and bogwoodbruce have hit a plateau long before they approached their post count.

I understand what onion-won meant...As I know chomp did....If you post 5,000 times, and know less....You are an anomaly that must be dealt with.... Bogwood knows a bit more than people like to admit...I would say he knows more than about 60% of all members if not more....Just because the stingray snobs and grumpy vets, tear him to pieces, and, seem to be untouchable themselves, does not make their word absolute. If you can't refrain from throwing knife-edge chops at a child younger than your own...You are the butt of this joke...Sorry..... Post count is a curse...If you are a mix of social, wise, energetic, easy going, eager to learn, passionate, dedicated, talkative AND ALWAYS WANTING TO HELP OTHERS, it gets frowned upon....guess what guys....Out with the old in with the new...We are ALL on the net now....The curds and whey have mixed....DEAL WITH IT and adapt....

I will agree with you. But even if you look at your own post count it's pretty high. And well you know a bunch. Probably a coincidence more than a correlation but I think even John/Oddball's and poss. Dr. Joe's post count are high. But yet there are a ton of new people, experts who aren't online much with low post counts. So I understand your point. But I also understand there are alot of knowledgable people with decently high post counts.

Post counts are from activity. And without all the activity this forum sees this forum would be pretty bland. So thank god for people who have questions, comments.

I may not know to much But the learning is the kicker. sometimes I walk away from this computer and my head hurts from all the stuff I try to obsorb. Most of it is reatained.

Yeah this forum is awesome for that. I've learned so much in my time here.

There is so much to see and learn and question on here it is a lot to take in. I spend hours staring at the aro section and diy's just in awe of some of the projects and undertakings people do. It is truly awesome to have a site to share all of our passion and knowledge on and to take so much from it!!!
