Top swimmers in a Malawi tank

Aceis. Swim near top when they get large.

Danios are always at the top. Not the best looking but not bad.

Giant danios. Or a feisty goodied like Ilyodon furcidens.

lol I have one regular sized danio frantically swimming in my 55 gal cichlid tank at the top.. he was there to cycle my smaller tank.. and then this tank.. and has somehow survived with 4inch + africans.. He's like the houdini of top swimmers... but I really, really do not suggest this option lol.. hes frantic..its stressfull to watch..
