Any smaller upper jaw types like sens, dels, palmas etc…
Let’s assume you’re getting 3 hujeta and you plan on doing an 80% WC weekly. Under that scenario, I’d say you could do 4-5 smaller bichirs. That’s just a guess but I am pretty confident with it.

Honestly, sens are probably the most fun, especially if you can get a wild caught

Not in a 4ft tank, trust me, uppers are fun too, some more so

It’s about personality as much as color. I haven’t kept a sen, but the ones I’ve seen are always active.
My del is great - they have a pattern similar to an endli and are always on the move. Given that my tetra number is slowly dwindling, I’m quite confident he’s eating fish.
I really can’t stress more that if you’re getting something solely to watch it eat live fish, you’re doing it for the wrong reasons. It gets old and expensive fast and every meal is a risk of disease.
