Has anyone ever tried giant danios with rays? They're active and tend to stay near the surface.

If one was planning on sticking with amazon fish...., what do you think would be a better choice as far a a mid-water fish went. Something like a Dat..., but form the amazon. I like to try to keep it as real and as native as possible..... what about "Geo's"...., I dont have much experience with them but i have seen them used..., what does everybody think. Also are they hard to get or expensive...., I assume they are from the amazon...???
